Can I buy boxes and other packing products from W-Ave Storage?

What does "on-site" manager mean?

"On-site" manager means that an employee, usually the Store Manager, has an office on-site at the facility.

Do you have moving carts available?

W-Ave Storage facilities that have inside units with access through a hallway will maintain an inventory of "push carts" that may be used free of charge. If you find yourself renting an inside unit and need a push cart, please let the Store Manager know and they will be happy to assist you.

Do you have video cameras?

W-Ave Storage facilities use video cameras as a security measure. Cameras are generally located at the point of entry and exit and other areas around the facility for your safety.

Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?

Our facility has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.

What is climate control?

Our climate controlled units maintain a temperature of 55 to 85 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.

What is a roll-up door?

Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.

Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?

We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks and recommend purchasing a disc lock to ensure the highest level of security.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?

The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Store Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask our Store Manager for information about 24-hour access.

What kind of security do you have?

W-Ave Storage takes great pride in protecting your belongings and strives to provide state-of-the-art security. We feature electronic gate with coded access, monitored video surveillance, and personal locks available for purchase.

What are the payment terms?

W-Ave Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases.

We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, or American Express®.
